The first ever Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure® is taking place this Saturday, June 6, in Washington D.C.. Last year's National Race for the Cure® raised more than $4.9 million for local screening, treatment and education programs for the medically underserved. The Organization is already on the way to meeting this year's fundraising goal of $3.8 million for the event, but they need more help to make it happen. It is not too late for last minute registration! If you are not a resident of Washington D.C., find a local Race for the Cure®!
