Help Us Support Communities Affected by Harvey

Hurricane Harvey is a truly unprecedented weather event. It came with force, delivering sustained 100 mph winds, spitting off tornados, and dumping record-breaking torrents on Houston, our nation's fourth largest city.

Citizens have been doing the best they can to survive and adjust in the wake of the storm; however, many are still cut off from basic supplies - food, water, and electricity - and many more have found themselves suddenly and unexpectedly homeless, displaced, often with animals and children in tow.

We are so proud and so honored to be able to provide fundraising support to several organizations who are working hard, day in and day out, to provide relief to those affected by this storm.

From providing short term supplies, shelter, and search and rescue, to more long term efforts centered around re-homing and reacclimating to a life post-tragedy, our nonprofit partners are doing incredible and selfless work as we speak. Read on for more details on our partners helping in the Gulf.

Convoy of Hope:

Convoy of Hope has a robust supply chain capable of delivering food, water, and support throughout the affected areas. So far, Convoy of Hope has distributed over $1 million worth of supplies throughout the greater Houston area, and has served more than 20,000 hurricane survivors since landfall.

Team Rubicon:

Team Rubicon's slogan is "Disasters are our business. Veterans are our passion." In a truly innovative way, Team Rubicon matches the skills of veterans with those of first-responders in order to dispatch highly effective and motivated first responder teams.

Team Rubicon is on the ground now, aiding the stretched local emergency services in search and rescue, supplies distribution, and much more. Their teams are organized, fast, and skilled.

HOPEworldwide:

HOPEworldwide is a second-responder organization. That is, once the flooding has drained, HOPEww's thousands of dedicated volunteers will travel into affected areas, clearing roads of debris and broken branches, repairing and restoring homes and infrastructure, and providing long term support to the community.

While they are not working during the hurricane, they will need your support to prepare for the years-long process of rebuilding. To donate to HOPEworldwide, text RESPOND to 80077*** to make an instant $25 donation, or visit their website to donate.

OperationUSA:

OperationUSA is well-versed in flood-relief. In fact, they've been providing valuable disaster relief services for over three decades. When word of Harvey's approach first reached OperationUSA, they instantly started to prepare supplies, volunteers, and an infrastructure capable of providing much-needed aid and supplies to those who need it most. Since then, OperationUSA has been on the ground working hard to help survivors get through this adversity.

There are many other organizations helping on the ground, working hard to ease the suffering of those caught in Harvey's path. If you'd like to learn about other ways to donate, other organizations currently assisting, or to inquire about a Text to Give program for your own Harvey response, please don't hesitate to reach out and contact us.

And, to any of our nonprofit partners reading this, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for the incredible work you do. The citizens of Houston and the world owe you a debt of gratitude.

Yours sincerely,

Ethan
