After attending the annual Cause Marketing Forum in Chicago last week, I headed back to Denver particularly inspired.

October resized 600Get ready to start seeing the color pink! October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the color pink will help spread awareness for those affected by breast cancer. According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, “aside from non-melanoma skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women.”  Organizations, supporters and survivors use October to discuss their stories, treatments and to help fund research. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer, but this month please take a moment and recognize those affected specifically by breast cancer.

The Importance of Building a Mobile Database and Relationship

Despite the growing popularity of mobile giving campaigns, the ability to convert one-time anonymous donors into lifelong supporters remains a challenge that many nonprofit organizations are faced with today. mGive is dedicated to helping clients broaden their donor base by integrating a mobile component into their already existing communication and fundraising strategies. Best Friends Animal Society will be hosting Strut Your Mutt from Coast to Coast events this September.  Events will be held on Sunday, September 19 in Santa Monica, California and on Sunday, September 26 in New York City.
